With the new EPs of Fox “The Grinder” getting lots of talk especially for its star, it has emerged that one of the shows biggest star didn’t want to star in the movie in fact the producers had to beg him to star.
According to reports, Fred Savage had no intentions of returning to TV and when the opportunity came in form of “The Grinder” he turned it down without even feeling a thing. The producer of the show had to convince the actor why the show is actually a perfect feet for him, and boy are we glad that he managed to do just that. Savage made the revelations recently during an interview at ATX TV Festival. In his interview with the entertainment-based sight, the star went a little bit further and explained why he was very reluctant at first about taking up the offer from the producers of “The Grinder.”
When growing up Savage spent, most of his young life on TV as well as in the movies and despite that he continued acting till his 20s, he had actually not planned on acting in his adult years. Given that the role in “The Grinder” came at a time when he was 38-years old, he had to pass it and thanks to some sweet talking by the show’s producer, he joined the cast of “The Grinder”.
“As all of you all know I have been acting ever since I was young and to be honest I haven’t been that interested in acting,” Savage said while speaking at the ATX TV Festival which was held in June 7th.
“It wasn’t my plan to make a comeback in acting but once I read the script I knew this was something special and that’s why I joined the cast.”
